  Free to remarry?

  i wonder if anyone can help with this information?

  i seem to recall that if a husband or wife commits adultery and is divorced, is it necessary for the innocent party to agree before that one can be reinstated?

  regardless of that answer if the person is reinstated and wishes to remarry do they need the agreement of the innocent party before they can remarry if they wish to maintain a good standing in the congregation?.

  when i think back to my childhood, i get kinda sad.

  one of my first memories is of my mom dragging me down the stairs of the old kingdumb hell in west allis, wi.

  i couldn't have been more than 3 years old.

  My dad joined when he was out in his luck... raising 2 kids on his own, drinking too much, not much of a job and the JW's took over, helped with us kids, gave him a job...

  never faked time i had one month I made 145 hours!!! in the summer hot in order to make my 1000 a year!!! No don't go door to door unless you are just talking to friends...

  From priviliged to ashamed

  i just finished chapter 8 of crisis of conscience.. i used to feel humbled, but priviliged to think that jehovah drew me to his organization.

  so few find it and he allowed me!.

  now i feel humbled, but ashamed that i never examined the religion and got sucked in.

  for those who haven't read the book awakening of a jehovah's witness by diane wilson, i highly recommend it.

  she covers so much - not only her touching personal experiences, but a host of "hard proof" as she quotes from wt publications.. .

  here's one statement that diane exposed on the subject of rape.

  Am I the only one who thought the GB was 100% correct when they were a JW?

  a few months ago i began researching my doubts on the internet about the wtbts and i came across a bunch of crazy facts.

  this helped me realize this isn't "the truth.".

  when i was growing up, i believed the society was always right, and we needed to obey what was in the publications.

  court orders jehovah's witness boy be given blood transfusionsean fewster from:adelaidenow june 04, 2010 7:12pma hospital has won the right to give a child potentially life-saving blood transfusions despite the religious objections of the boy and his family.. in a south australian legal first, the supreme court this afternoon gave the women's and children's hospital the right to give a 10-year-old boy - a member of the jehovah's witness faith - transfusions as part of his cancer treatment.. the decision, in line with similar rulings from around the world, paves the way for hospitals to take action in future debates with religious parents.. the boy is suffering from an aggressive form of cancer that doctors fear will spread throughout his entire body if not treated with an intense 39-week regime of chemotherapy and surgery,adelaide now reported.. .

  the speed of that process will not allow his blood cells time to regenerate, meaning he will require transfusions so that the chemotherapy can continue unabated.. in a statement read to the court, the boy said transfusions carried spiritual consequences.. "the doctors have told me i might die and i don't want to - but i don't want blood," he said.. "the blood will change me... when you take blood, you are taking someone else's life.. "i really don't want this and my heart is ripping apart.".
